About Me

I have a long career supporting those struggling to make sense of their difficulties. I can support you to make sense of what brings you to therapy now, as well as beginning to explore patterns, thoughts and feelings that may have been causing you distress for some time.

I am an integrative therapist and use a variety of approaches meaning I will utilise what is required based on your individual needs. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) meaning I adhere to the high standards and ethical code of these organisations.

I support clients experiencing a range of difficulties and have worked with issues including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, complex needs, dual diagnosis, abuse, parental conflict, personality disorders and learning disabilities.

I have a particular interest in exploring adapting to parenting, those struggling with learning difficulties (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ASD & Autism) cultural issues, trans-generational family themes, mixed nationality/interfaith marriage and/or parenting.
I am bilingual speaking English and Turkish.

I am also a training facilitator providing insight to trainee counsellors/psychotherapists and  mental health support workers on a range of themes both within the NHS and for private organisations.
